The CEO of AutoNation said in a recent interview that range anxiety on electric vehicles is not as much of a worry as previously thought. EV drivers tend to use them mostly for local trips and often don’t need to find charging stations. Meanwhile, despite electric vehicles comprising only 1.5% of all vehicles on U.S. roads, enough models have hit the market to warrant categories for annual car ratings and reliability comparisons by Consumer Reports and J.D.
